This event is called Omato Taikai held in Sanjusangen-do hall.
This is held every January around Japanese Coming-of-Age day.The sight of women grow up to be twenty and adult in Japan line up and draw bows all at once is overwhelming. Two thousand new adults come together from all over the Japan for this event.
They show us their supple and beautiful standing posture and commanding facial expression. We would know they make great determination to their future by behaviors.
These ceremonies have meaningful reasons respectively. We can tell how people in Kyoto keep cherishing and maintaining the tradition.
